AMATEURAZZI PRIVACY POLICY

The Amateurazzi Privacy Policy describes how Amateurazzi and its subsidiaries treat personal information when you use Amateurazzi services, including information provided when you use Amateurazzi.com (including all content available through the Amateurazzi.com domain name, collectively, the “Website”).  Please read this policy carefully and refer back to this policy regularly, as we may need to change this policy from time to time in order to address new issues and reflect changes to the Website.  

I.          PERSONAL INFORMATION

 A.        Non-Account Activity.  You can view photographs on Amateurazzi.com without having an Amateurazzi Account.

B.         Account-Related Activity.  Certain other activities on Amateurazzi.com — e.g., uploading photographs and other content or posting comments — require you to have an Amateurazzi Account.  We ask for certain personal information when you create an Amateurazzi Account, including your email address and a password, which is used to protect your account from unauthorized access.  An Amateurazzi Account allows you to access many of our services that require registration.

C.        Usage Information.  We may record information about your usage, such as when you use Amateurazzi.com, the channels, groups, and favorites you subscribe to, the contacts you communicate with, and the frequency and size of data transfers, as well as information you display or click on in Amateurazzi.com.  If you are logged in, we may associate that information with your account.  We may use clear GIFs (a.k.a. "Web Beacons") in HTML-based emails sent to our users to track which emails are opened by recipients.

 D.       Content Uploaded to Site.  Any personal information, photographs or other content that you voluntarily disclose online (on discussion boards, in messages and chat areas, etc.) becomes publicly available and can be collected and used by others.

E.         Uses.

·                     If you submit personally identifiable information to us through the Website, we use your personal information to operate, maintain, and provide to you the features and functionality of the Website, as well as provide special personalized features to you.

·                     Your account name (not your email address) is displayed to other users when you upload photographs or send messages through the Website and other users can contact you through messages and comments.  Any photgraphs that you submit to the Website may be redistributed through the internet and other media channels, and may be viewed by the general public.

·                     We do not use your email address or other personally identifiable information to send commercial or marketing messages without your consent or except as part of a specific program or feature for which you will have the ability to opt-in or opt-out.  We may, however, use your email address without further consent for non-marketing or administrative purposes (such as notifying you of major Website changes or for customer service purposes).

·                     We use both your personally identifiable information and certain non-personally-identifiable information (such as anonymous User usage data, cookies, IP addresses, browser type, clickstream data, etc.) to improve the quality and design of the Website and to create new features, promotions, functionality, and services by storing, tracking, and analyzing user preferences and trends.

·                     We use cookies, clear gifs, and log file information to: (a) store information so that you will not have to re-enter it during your visit or the next time you visit the Website; (b) provide custom, personalized content and information; (c) monitor the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns; (d) monitor aggregate metrics such as total number of visitors, pages viewed, etc.; and (e) track your entries, submissions, and status in promotions, sweepstakes, and contests.

F.         Non-Affiliated Companies.  In certain instances, we may contract with nonaffiliated companies to perform services for us.  Where necessary, we will disclose information we have about you to these third parties.  In all such cases, we will provide the applicable third party with only the information necessary to carry out its assigned responsibilities.   

G.        Other Disclosure.  We may release information about you if you direct us to do so, if we are compelled by law or other governmental authority to do so or in other legally-permitted circumstances (e.g., attempted breach of the security of the Website or physical or property threat to you or others).  We may also transfer user information, including any personally identifiable information you have provided to us, in connection with a corporate merger, consolidation, sale of assets or other fundamental corporate change.

H.         Privacy of Children.  We understand that young people need special safeguards and privacy protection.  We strongly urge all parents to participate in their children’s exploration of the Internet and any online services and to teach their children about protecting their personal information online.  We may, in our absolute discretion, require users under 18 to obtain the consent of a parent or guardian to view certain content and we may limit access to certain content to users above a specified age.  You agree to abide by any such restrictions and not aid anyone in avoiding such restrictions.

I.          Your Choices.

·                     You may, of course, decline to submit personally identifiable information through the Website, in which case you can still view photographs and explore the Website, but Amateurazzi and the Website may not be able to provide certain services to you.  Some advanced Amateurazzi features may, for authentication purposes, require you to sign up for other Amateurazzi services.  The privacy notices of those services govern the use of your personal information associated with them.

·                     You may update or correct your personal profile information and email preferences at any time by visiting your account profile page.
